After Retiring from twenty years in her magazine publishing company, Rosie decided to take a few days off before starting to work again.
Art has always been one of Rosie's past times, even winning a blue ribbon on her oil painting at the local country fair made it evident her talent was there,
just time did not allow for it.
When her Daughter-in-law, Kerrie Wells, had several ideas for today's latest fads in kitchen decor, she approached
Rosie to do some paintings for the projects Kerrie had been constantly thinking about. Rosie agreed and with brush in hand she began to paint but also as the paint was drying, she had to locate just the perfect factory that was experienced in producing MELAMINE products! Not plastic!

Melamine has only been in existence for ten years! It has become even more popular in the past two years!
With her experience in working with the Orient in her past business and being in Hong Kong and China earlier, Rosie found the right contacts!
Together the Wells Team has opened Wells Designs Company to not only produce their own designs on Dinnerware &Future Crafts but also to help other Artisans to achieve their hopes and dreams to have their creations produced for today's market also!
Kerrie has been in the Retail Industry for over five years...Primitive Decor has been a popular theme in her shoppe (Deerfields) and customers even came from out of state often to shop her business! She also, is part owner in Decades, a shop filled to the brim with Vendors of Primitive specialties, FolkArt decor offerings, Antiques and much, much more! All this experience has given Kerrie the ideas
for Wells Designs dinnerware and more for the future!
